I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them. I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back. I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it. I've learned that it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts. I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do, but to the best you can do. I've learned that it's not what happens to people that's important. It's what they do about it. I've learned that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides. I've learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be. I've learned that it's a lot easier to react than it is to think. I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. I've learned that you can keep going long after you think you can't. I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel. I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you. I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences. I've learned that learning to forgive takes practice. I've learned that there are people who love you dearly, but just don't know how to show it. I've learned that money is a lousy way of keeping score. I've learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time. I've learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up. I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel. I've learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love. I've learned that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. I've learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated. I've learned that you should never tell a child her dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if she believed it. I've learned that your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. I've learned that no matter how good a friend someone is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. I've learned that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself. I've learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief. I've learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become. I've learned that sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose sides even when I don't want to. I've learned that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do. I've learned that sometimes you have to put the individual ahead of their actions. I've learned that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I've learned that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. I've learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. I've learned that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process. I've learned that there are many ways of falling and staying in love. I've learned that no matter the consequences, those who are honest with themselves, get farther in life. I've learned that many things can be powered by the mind, the trick is self-control. I've learned that no matter how many friends you have, if you are their pillar, you will feel lonely and lost at the times you need them most. I've learned that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you. I've learned that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help. I've learned that writing, as well as talking, can ease emotional pains. I've learned that the paradigm we live in is not all that is offered to us. I've learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon. I've learned that although the word "love" can have many different meaning, it loses value when overly used. I've learned that it's hard to determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people's feelings and standing up for what you believe.
I've also learned that believing and hoping doesnt get you anywhere, thats why i've stopped hoping and dreaming a long time ago.

shake it like a poloroid picture.. hheeey heeyy yaa....
stupid song.. came on the radio 5 times on the way home. Then my favorite song came on i got to listen to the whole thing and it end as we were pulling in my driveway. Thats the best thing in the world.
I was in best buy yesterday and i went to the keyboard section. I almost started crying when i played the yamaha baby grand. It was beautiful and it was just amazing. I can record songs on it, it has a s1/2 floppy slot and everything. It really did bring tears to my eyes and I almost started to cry. I REALLY really want it. I dont want a real piano anymore i want that one. It may as well be real anyways. But yea... it was quite nice, very nice indeed. Instead of buy me a yamaha electric baby grand thing, we're buying a karaoke machine. How retarded. ok look, we can get a karaoke machine later but i must have this piano. Why not just get both. The piano isnt expensive and neither in the karaoke machine. Charles and Aunt Dean sent up christmas stuff a couple days ago. They gave us $500 and sent me a mini calendar. The parentals normally are in charge of the money and they want a karaoke machine. Lets forget about the more practical thing.

I have been looking at my old journal. Wow. It has 271 entries of pure retarded-ment. I created it July 13th 2002. erg. I've banned everyone and everyone from going to it and I'm going to delete it soon. Some of the stuff in there is pretty good, but as for the rest, it's embarrassing stuff that i dont want people to know about me and they shouldnt lol. I cant believe i actually had it up for everyone to look at before. I suppose i'm exaggerating a bit, it's not that bad, its just some of the stuff I had the odacity to type in there, some of the stuff that happened. Some of the stuff that I have done in past I fuss at people for doing now. Craziness. but yea.

Today has been boring. I love days when we dont have to go to school, but they're just pretty much boring and uneventful. Kelly came over for a while, wild house parties lol. I had to go to greensboro too - gah stupid family issues. but it was kind of fun i guess. I got lots of calls- Kelly called of course, MENA called!!! I think she was x-mas shopping and wanted to know what i didnt have so she could get me something and wanted to know if i could go to rock and bowl with her and shana tomorrow night, and then marcus called, and joey, shella, jessica, grandma, and jake. All the calls were for me too! It made me feel special lol. I love phone calls, i havent been getting a lot lately, it's probably because i never call anyone. I rarely call kelly anymore. I guess if i start calling people more often then i'd get more calls. but that was my day. w00t w00t
Why do I even bother to make deals or bets when i lose them and get the bad end of it lol. Me, Kristen, and Lindsey have this bet. Lindsey has to ask this certain person to the SH dance and if she does then Kristen has to ask this certain person to it, and if she does it than i'm supposed to do something. I was originally going to cut my hair, but i changed my mind. SO just to make it even, i picked out someone and decided if they went through with it then i'd ask this person thinking they werent going to go through with it. Well Lindsey is just getting lucky with hers and it probably wont be a problem anymore to ask her person, and now that shes doing it, Kristen may do it, i dont see why not, and then it's my turn. I may just back out because i cant. so i guess i wont lose in this one lol. that or i can make a different deal. hmmmm

i was looking through my old entries and one of my entries said i would show some examples of the badge tattoo and my templates and i never did so here's one of them. This one is horrible. It's very sketchsy and it was my first one, i have some other nicer ones but i'm adding touch ups to those. I meant to change the gradient on this angel but i never did. oh well. the only thing that is nice about this one is my cropping around the badge - it took FOREVER and many trials too. After the badge i was tired of cropping so i was like to hell with this and I didnt take my time on the angel. lol. patience shmatience, who needs patience.
i'm also working on an archive for ALL my entries. it'll be done soon :-) so yay
life is too boring. normally if people are bored they sleep... and I have been having problems doing that too. So i guess i just hae to sit here forever til something to do comes up. lol.

I was supposed to go to kelly's today but my mom didnt want me to go and then my grandma said something about going to lynchburg to see the OTHER side of the family, so my mom thought it'd make her look good if i showed up so she made me go with grandma. Well traditionally i thought it would be hell because i thought it was my grandpa's side. Before i go on, let me give you a little background information on this. My family sides hate eachother.. excluding my mom's side because they dont speak english and they're a billion of miles away. But you have my dad's side, and then it goes into sub-sides. My grandpa's (the ratcliffes) and my grandma's (the deans and marshalls). Then you have us which includes me, the parentals, and the g-units. Well the ratcliffes hate the deans and the deans hate the ratcliffes, my side hates some of each and we all have been fighting for YEARS now. We do get along with some, but those some are loudmouths as well. So now back to my story. We actually went to see my g'ma's side. they're ALL crazy :-). I fit in perfectly. Due to fighting i havent seen them in 10 years so it was nice. I got to see some of my cousins too! It was great, this summer i'm supposed to go to manassas and spend a week with shella and them. They're pretty much rich. They have a twelve bedroom house, a gianormous pool, and soo much more. Shella hates my mom though. Shella is more laid back, GREAT to be around, and more of the fun type. My mom is just... shes just not those things. I can kind of see why she is like that though, she's been through a divorce and lost two kids so thats why she's so strict on me, but she takes it too far sometimes and gets pshycotic about it. But i had so much fun. Oh the 4-wheeling, and my cousins are great. Kelley is 10 and Joey is like 4. I lovem to death. I cant wait til i get re-united with farah, josh and lisa. Lets see, farah is 21, josh is 19, lisa is 27. Plus there's umm sara, chris and all them. I miss them. it's great to know i have other family besides the immediate bunch down here. My other family may be crazy but i definately get along better with them than i do with some down here sometimes. but thats my family :-)
so yay for thanksgiving and TONS of food ;-)
